Welcome to the University of Northampton Alumni e-Mentoring scheme.
The University of Northampton is dedicated to enhancing the student experience. The academic and professional experience that our alumni have to offer proves invaluable for our students as they embark on their careers. By registering as a mentee you will have access to a wealth of talented alumni who can provide you with both academic and professional advice and where possible offer work placement opportunities.
The UN Connect Alumni e-Mentoring allows you to enter your current contact details, details of your time at UN, and information about your current job. You can then decide how much of this information you are happy to share with others on the Directory. Log-in details will only be given to alumni and staff of UN.
Keeping in Touch
The Directory is a great starting point if you are trying to get back in touch with an old College friend, or to find UN alumni in your area or in your field of work. It can also be used simply to update the contact details the College holds for you..
This map helps you see where in the country, or indeed the world, other UN are based. This could be useful if you are visiting an area for a holiday, on business, or completely relocating to a new place and keen to connect with others who share your experiences of UN!
The eMentoring platform is designed to help alumni and current students connect so that alumni can advise and give guidance to UN embarking on their chosen careers. This could be anything from a few emails or checking a CV/application, to meeting face to face or even offering work experience. The idea is that alumni can donate as much or as little of their time as they can spare to helping those in need of a helping hand at the beginning of their careers.
Looking for a lawyer near you? Or perhaps a helpful contact in a particular industry? The Directory lists the job titles and industries of hundreds of UN. Find the contact you need to further your career or business, knowing that they will hear you out.
By registering as a mentor you can help shape the future of a student and further cement your University as a leading institution for employability.
